The single room was cozy and comfortable, with a private bathroom and a hairdryer. We loved having free WiFi in our room, making it easy to stay connected. The communal kitchen was a great bonus, allowing us to cook our own meals.
Personally, we didn't prefer the shared bathrooms.

Nice girls at the reception desk, really friendly and helpful. Location is great! in a quiet place but about 12 min by foot to the old town. Rooms r clean, nice balkony in the building. Good value for money.

Loved participating in the TV program and conversations of my neighbors through the thin walls. Such a thrill! The kind receptionist and cozy surroundings of wooden houses were a delight.
The incredibly filthy kitchen and the rats running around before entering really enhanced the overall unpleasant experience. How charming!

The receptionist went above and beyond, staying up until midnight to greet me and even offered me her own tea. The shower was clean and had good water pressure. The location was convenient, just a 20-minute walk from the train station. The staff were friendly and accommodating, suggesting a private room when I accidentally booked a mixed dorm. The room itself was comfortable and well-equipped with a kettle, fridge, wardrobe, table, and TV. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment and the whole hostel was quiet and peaceful. a great experience!

* It was indeed 15 minutes walk to the city center. * Large rooms (if you have a double).
* Staff hardly spoke English (if you can do Russian, you'll probably be fine) * There was a "kitchen" hardly worth mentioning. And if you do, please bring your own "gear" (Pots, pans and dishes...) there are hardly any. * It is next to a nightclub (and the emergency exit goes through it) * Showers are only separated by a curtain, not much privacy when changing as this is in a shared area (though males and females have their own areas obviously) * The beds (springs) were not really comfortable.

Very nice staff. Good location - not far from the historical center of the city. The quiet place. Important: the hostel has his own parking (it is not easy to find free parking in the center of Tallinn). Also we liked the nice hostel design. It's realy good place for travelling families, and for students.

Cheap in every sense of the world
The nord-hostel is linked with a strange night club... No more to say...

I got great value for my money at Viva Nord. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient, with easy access to the city center and beach. The staff were friendly and helpful during my stay.
Breakfast selection could be improved with more variety.

The staff were really kind and accommodating. The parking spot was under CCTV, so I didn't have to worry about my car. The hostel is conveniently located close to the old town, just a 5-7 minute walk away. The shower rooms were clean and there was usually no queue. The room had a refrigerator and a teapot. The bed was big and comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep. The neighborhood was quiet and there was no smell of cigarette smoke or mold.
Felt truly spoilt, no complaints.

The workers were super nice and helpful, they even accommodated my request for a private room. the common bathroom was clean and well-maintained. the beds were really comfy and the room had all the necessary amenities like a kettle, fridge, wardrobe, table, and TV. the kitchen had all the necessary equipment too. the area around the hotel was cozy with charming wooden houses. Plus, it was conveniently located within walking distance of the old town.
The noise level was a bit high due to thin walls and nearby construction in the morning and drunk guest workers at night. Not ideal for light sleepers.

We had a great stay at Viva Nord. the hotel was fairly priced, clean, and the staff were nice. the location was very good and offered free parking. the shower and WC were ensuite and sufficient. We were able to keep our luggage in the administrator's office. The receptionist's desk had a fridge with basic food and water available for purchase. Cons: Couldn't find any faults at all! 😊.
